BRANDING | PORTRAITS

Here’s how you can best prepare for a successful BRANDING, PORTRAIT or MATERNITY photography session:

  1. Prioritize Self-Care: Just like in any other photography session, this is your moment to shine. Focus on feeling confident and comfortable in your skin. Rest well for a few nights leading up to your shoot to ensure you’re feeling your best.
  2. Hydration and Nutrition: Stay hydrated by increasing your water intake in the days before your session. Avoid alcohol, as it can lead to bloating and puffiness. Opt for nutritious meals that make you feel energized and revitalized.
  3. Grooming: Prior to your session, ensure you’re well-groomed. This includes shaving your legs, armpits, and any other necessary areas. If you prefer waxing, schedule your appointment at least five days in advance to allow any redness to subside.
  1. Polished Nails: Having well-manicured nails can enhance your professional image. Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure before the session, as this small touch can make a significant difference in your final pictures.
  2. Hair Care: A fresh hairstyle can elevate your overall look. Arrange for a haircut and color touch-up before your session. Your hair plays a crucial role in expressing your brand identity, so make sure it’s on point.
  3. Clothing: Make sure you have your outfits ready and they are pressed, lint and pet hair free. Don’t forget the accessories and for a branding session any props you want to include.

Remember, this session is all about capturing your essence as a professional or in your legacy portraits. By taking these steps to prepare, you’re ensuring that your photography reflects your confidence and authenticity, making a long lasting impact.

– Don’t tan in a tanning salon or in the sun a few days before your shoot. You don’t want to come in with red blotchy skin and tan lines are not attractive in your photographs.

– Personally, I advise against spray tans they tend to look orange in your pictures.

– IMPORTANT- Ladies, for best results in your photo session, having your professional hair and makeup done is essential, it makes a HUGE difference in your final pictures, best of all – it’s included in your session fee and we can do a “No Makeup Look” if you are not used to wearing makeup

– Arrive with clean, dry hair with no product in it and a clean face so the makeup artist has a “clean canvas” to start with.

– Come to your session with your clothes cleaned, pressed, lint and pet hair free.

– Don’t forget you accessories and props.

– Please be on time.

– Keep Calm and have a great time.

– We will take good care of you 🙂

– Book an evening out after because you will look and feel fabulous.
